Wall of Fame Restoration Project
Beginning in 2018 the Wall of Fame committee began the task of restoring the Wall. New wood panels were installed, lining the main athletics hallway in Newburyport High School. Unfortunately, the global pandemic shut this project down and restricted access for nearly three years; this ongoing project resumed post pandemic with the replacement of damaged plaques, painting, and by 2024 the hanging of plaques. Finally, once again, students, staff and visitors will be able to learn and pay respects to those who gave so much and achieved great things during their time at Newburyport High School. A special thanks to those who contributed to our fundraisers and donated time and services to restore our Wall of Fame. |
